Wow. Look at this strong field. Any one of them could do it. Wow.

  • Sullivan · Considering I have not posted 25 times my picks, your information is unsubstantiated. I made a good bit of money this weekend on Comma to the Top and Beholder. Well, "I" made it, really my father as I was away in New York and therefore unable to post my picks or watch the majority of the events on the card live. · 820 days ago
  • bettorthanlucky · I picked Close Hatches (Mott is still scratching is head about her performance) after I saw the way she handled Princess of Sylmar in the Gazelle... I saw POS with those huge strides and I could not believe Hatches put her away so easily... Watching the Oaks I saw POS run by everyone and looking like she could run all day... I guess I'm wondering which is the real Close hatches? · 820 days ago
1 - Unlimited Budget, 2 - Dreaming of Julia, 3 - Close Hatches, 4 - Silsita

  • SSilence86 · I'm logging in at work to say.. I'll miss it live, and I'm having a hard time picking a "like" in this race. Midnight Luck, Close Hatches, and Dreaming of Julia (no order) Good luck ladies, stay safe, and it'll be a good one no matter who wins! · 823 days ago
  • yukichan · Midnight Lucky, DOJ, Unlimited Budget · 823 days ago
I think Close Hatches Gazelle win was the best prep for the K.Oaks. Not as visually stunning as DOJ, but she battled the length of the stretch and won drawing off in the final 16th. That is a game game filly. Since Juddmonte pulled Emollient out of the oaks and Close Hatches is in....She is my pick no questions asked. $50 WP on her.
  • vodkak · Well you're right about not as visually stunning as DOJ. Her late pace figures are slow-slow. Her final one eight was over 14 sec; DOJ was 12.85 sec. I have her 5th. · 825 days ago
  • Sullivan · Especially on a stretch as long as Churchill's, I agree completely. · 825 days ago

Currently looking at: 1st- Dreaming of Julia, 2nd- Close Hatches, 3rd- Flashy Gray, 4th- Princess of Sylmar. Could change the day of.

  • Sullivan · Good enough for me. Hope that everything is okay, Dressage, you were missed in your absence. There's a nice conformation photo of Mylute up. I hate his head in this photo but it can be seen here: http://www.facebook.com/pages/Mylute/243139209159384?id=243139209159384&sk=photos_stream · 826 days ago
  • Dressage3295 · I really like Mylute's confirmation- very nice for a three year old. Excited to see what it will look like as he matures more. And thanks Sullivan- everything's going quite well, I've just been incredbly busy lately · 826 days ago
Worth the view. WOW these girls look GOOD... http://www.kentuckyderby.com/news/videos/oaks-backside-buzz-jill-byrne-422
