  • goblin · Yeah, the second fastest at the 1 1/8 mi. distance. Here's a chart. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jim_Dandy_Stakes · 397 days ago
  • travel_vic · Personality won it in around 1:35 and change, when it was a mile · 397 days ago
Palace Malice did what I thought he was going to do. I didn't get a chance to gloat, along with Rafi and the others who knew Palace Malice was going to take it. My son was being Baptized as the race was going on, so I did not get to see it or watch a replay yet. What happened to Mylute?

  • travel_vic · Tracks, just about all of them, have energy profiles. Horses kicking ass at Philly fade at Belmont, horses doing well at Gulfstream oddly do well here at Woodbine because the energy pratmeters are close...The Fair Grounds continues to produce all these late running locals that FAIL miserable when shifted to an earlier track....You have to know the energy heirarchies to be prepared for the shippers · 415 days ago
  • travel_vic · LONG meets like Philly, Mountaineer, Woodbine and the like (Tampa) help since there is no great influx of horses from differing veneus to deal with that often. · 415 days ago
So I had the opportunity to go home at very short notice, and I jumped at the opportunity ... however that means that I now am stuck without access to a tv I can watch the races toay and tomorrow on. Is there a website that broadcasts them?

  • kay.robinett · NBC sports has a website where you can watch their sports coverage on line. When our local NBc affiliate chose to show some horrid Valentine's Day (!!!) puppet show instead of the first part of the Belmont coverage I was able to watch online on the NBC sports website for free. · 417 days ago

Call me crazy, but I think the big long shot, Perfect Title has a real shot in today's Jim Dandy.
I think Mylute pulls off the win today. Everyone is getting hypnotized by these other horses who just aren't in the same class as PM and Mylute.
Code West tracks Moreno, pounces and holds off Palace Malice for the win.
Win Palace Malice Place Mylute Show Code West 4th Perfect Title
After being torn between 4 horses, I'm putting the scrappy Code West on top with Mylute a close 2nd.
Palace Malice.. Will Take Charge..Mylute
Palace Malice and Code West will be duking this one out for the win. Mylute should finish 2nd or 3rd, Look for Freedom Child to finish 3rd or complete the SF. My top 4 #1 PM #2 CW #3 MY #4 FC. Good luck all.
