At odds of 13-1, Hong Kong local Dominant surprises the field to win the Hong Kong Vase.
Gonna have to rethink my super-fecta ticket for the Hong Kong Vase now. Unfortunately, Dandino & Galileo Rock have both been scratched from the race. They happened to be 2 of the 4 horses I intended to use along with The Fugue & Red Cadeaux on my Vase super-fecta.

  • travel_vic · Hong Kong races, all of them, are so close at the end that logic is out the window...I watched them for a year and could find little logic beyond maybe the top two in a race and the scale of weights is terrible · 542 days ago
which race is first out of the big four, & what time is post time for the very first?
Both Dandino (heat in off-foreleg) and Galileo Rock (soft tissue injury) have been scratched from the Hong Kong Vase
My Hong Kong Vase super-fecta prediction: 1st-The Fugue 2nd-Red Cadeaux 3rd-Galileo Rock 4th-Dandino.
  • ajump08 · Really feeling Galileo Rock has a big chance in here. Beautiful specimen. Red Cadeaux is probably my second choice. · 544 days ago
  • ajump08 · I thin I might have to put Dandino ahead of Red Cadeaux now after what I'm seeing on the track. · 543 days ago
Red Cadeaux, Dandino, and Mount Athos all arrived in Hong Kong today on the same plane from Australia in preparation of the G1 Hong Kong Vase on Dec.8th. Also on the plane was Side Glance who had also gone to Australia where he finished 6th in the G1 Cox Plate and he won the G1 Mackinnon Stakes. Side Glance arrived to represent Pearl Bloodstock Ltd. in the G1 Hong Kong Cup.
