  • CauseForConcern · Looks like 20 could be enough points now. With all these defections, wouldn't it be ironic if they couldn't fill the 20-horse field? And, with Departing, Winning Cause, and Governor Charlie(among others) now aiming at the Preakness Stakes, it seems strange that the Preakness could be as competitive as the Derby? We have a little over 120 hours til the Derby, but, is there some doubt as to the significance of the point system now? · 21 days ago ·

The most impressive horse in this race was defiantly Capo Bastone but I think the best horse in the race was Zee Bros. Expect a huge effort in the Woody Stephan's next time out.

  • Mary Z. · Yes, gelded 1, Officer Alex is my top pick in the Derby Trial. None are outstanding. officer Alex could get a nice pace set-up and if the track is off but not very sloppy, he's run well under those conditions. I do think your Titletown Five will go for the lead, but he'll be dueling with Zee Bros. · 24 days ago ·

  • Mary Z. · I liked enough about Ruble, too, Gelded1. I just post top 4 here. If I were to play a super, it would not just be my top four boxed, but it would include others for third or fourth, at least. · 24 days ago ·
