  • rafirox · Matt Shifman, thanks for writing this. I think you got 3 out of the 5 correct. Princess of Sylmar and Wise Dan are practically locks, and Palace Malice is my pick for the 3yo champ. · 252 days ago ·

Unlimied Budget in my opinion will be the best filly from this crop, so I'll go with her.

No Beholder? I am a bit suprised by that.

  • ekindy · West Coast fillies are at a big disadvantage in that Del Mar doesn't have any graded stakes races for three year old fillies on the dirt. If PoS pulls off a sweep of the CCAO, Alabama and Cotillion (and I know that's hardly a given), the three year old filly championship will be decided even before Beholder gets to show her stuff at the Breeders Cup. · 282 days ago ·

  • ekindy · *Oops, I mean synthetic track, not dirt. I keep forgetting that. Maybe that would have kept Beholder away anyway, but my basic point still stands. · 282 days ago ·

Close Hatches (temperature) and Dreaming of Julia (time frame) will both miss the CCA Oaks. Pletcher sends out Princess of Sylmar and Unlimited Budget to represent the "Todd Squad."
