So much for Free Eagle being the ante-post favorite for next year's G1 Epsom Derby. He just got drummed by Coolmore's Australia by some 6 or 7 lengths in the Breeders Cup Juvenile Turf Trial Stakes at Leopardstown!! Australia has what I consider to be the closest thing you can get to a perfect pedigree, sired by Galileo out of the great mare Ouija Board. This win gets Australia into the BC Juvenile Turf in November without supplemental fees,so it's hard to imagine Aidan O'Brien and the Coolmore mafia not taking advantage of that. If Australia comes to Santa Anita it take a hell of an effort from one of the other horses in the field to keep Coolmore from winning their 3rd straight BC Juvenile Turf, IMO.

  • Northport · great to see Ouija Board's progeny winning in group company, her others of racing age havent made much noise, but Australia has definitely got great potential · 633 days ago
