  • yukichan · Should add: Military Attack (Ire), g, 5 is trained by John Moore and was ridden by the young and talented Australian jockey Tommy Berry. Military Attack was a recent winner in the Hong Kong Gold Cup at Sha Tin on Feb. 24 and the 1800m Premier Plate H. carrying 133 pds. Mar. 24. This is Berry's first venture abroad -- so far so very good for the 22 yr old! · 437 days ago ·

  • AmbitiousD · That was a great race! Congrats to Military Attack, he is really developing into quite a horse. I was very impressed with the finish by Sajjhaa considering she missed the start. And as for Ambitious Dragon, he was sure coming with quite a rush before being interfered with...but thats racing. I wonder if Millard will wheel him back next week for the Champion's Mile? · 437 days ago ·

Sometimes I scratch my head at Timeform's rating system? Ambitious Dragon and Eishen Flash are tied, both with a 138 Timeform rating as the 2 highest rated horses in the Audemars Piguet QE II Cup field. Believe me, I totally get Ambitous Dragon being rated 138, but I can't for the life of me understand Eishin Flash being rated 138? He's won 1 race in his last 16 starts which was the G1 Tenno Sho(Autumn) back on 10-28-2012, and he only has 3 career wins in 19 career starts. I'm sorry, but that shouldn't add up to a 138 rating using anyone's mathmatics scale!!
  • AmbitiousD · I was wondering the same thing. Eishen Flash is a multiple G1 winner and has run well against Orfevre, but I dont really understand the system enough to criticize it. · 439 days ago ·
