ILuvTurfRacing · Strong front runners have done well in the past on Meydan's tapeta track. For that reason you'd have think Little Mike has a strong of chance of making the frame at a minimum. One of the race co-favorites, Saint Baudolino, being scratched from the race now only further improves Little Mike's chances. That said, I think Hunter's Light gonna take a world of beating here. He's 3 for 3 lifetime in stakes races on synthetic surfaces having won the listed Churchill Stakes on all-weather at Lingfield, G2 Anatolia Trophy on polytrack in Turkey, and G2 Al Maktoum Challenge Rd. 2 on tapeta last month at Meydan. He's also drawn perfectly in PP #5 of 14 for Saturday's race. · 71 days ago ·

ILuvTurfRacing · I predicted Hunter's Light would take a world of beating in the AMC Rd. 3. He was drawn perfectly and got a great trip throughout. The eye catcher once again, IMO, was Kassiano. Breaking from the widest gate, PP #13, and he still manages to pass all but the winner to grab 2nd. At this point you have to think Hunter's Light & Kassiano both as legitimate threats to win this year's Dubai World Cup. · 70 days ago ·

rafirox · Looks to be a tough race (imo) to handicap. Godolphin's quartet ain't easy to beat. Monterosso won the 2012 Dubai World Cup, Prince Bishop is a tough racehorse, Hunter's Light is a classy horse definitely the class of the field. Little Mike? Unknown how he'll handle the tapeta. New jock, new surroundings, new surface. Kassiano loves the tapeta. He holds a big edge on the field. Surfer, imo, is a good longshot. And Mendip, should be/set the pace and fade to hold pieces at the end. Here's my selections: 1st- Hunter's Light 2nd- Monterosso 3rd- Kassiano 4th- Mendip.
