Older Comments about the 2013 Al Fahidi Fort (G2)...

I'd imagine that Mike De Kock is very pleased with the effort he got from all 3 of the horses he sent out in the G2 Al Fahidi Fort. The winner, Mushreq, has really come on like gangbusters in his last couple of races after a couple of unimpressive runs early on at the Carnival. Master of Hounds ends up running a solid 2nd coming off a 4 month layoff and Musir a very creditable 4th coming off nearly a year layoff and failed stud career. Godolphin's Mandaean was the disappointment of the race given how well he had run in winning his Carnival debut, IMO.
