  • annalefsrud@yahoo.ca · The Much Man is a wonderful horse, there IS something about him, and wonderful to see Awesome feather go so well, and I agree with JasonM about Delightful Mary, had she not had to change out like that. Was Awesome's race, but would have been interesting to see her stride uninterrupted. These horses with such heart. And I am jealous of anyone who saw it LIVE!! · 809 days ago ·

Trainer Lynne Scace knew what she was doing when she shipped in It’s Me Mom for the six furlong Florida Sunshine Millions Filly & Mare Sprint. The Put It Back filly indeed put them back when she wired the field of seven, increasing her six furlong record to six wins from nine starts.Read More

A quick look at the Saturday overnight of the six stakes races worth $1.3 million to be run on the Florida Sunshine Millions program at Gulfstream Park would not easily identify the event as restricted to Florida-bred runners because more than a third - 17 of the 48 horses entered - , are ‘open’ Gr...Read More
  • terri.zeitz · It will be a wonderful weekend of horse racing. Breakfast at Gulfstream will feature John Velasquez and Kent Desormeaux from 7 to 10 am on Sat and include watching the horses train and a barn tour. On Sunday, the Holy Bull will feature Consortium, Hansen, and Algorithms. I can't wait until the Fountain of Youth when Discreet Dancer takes on Union Rags. It's a unbelieveable season at Gulfstream with so many top 4 year olds returning and top Derby contenders. · 812 days ago ·

  • Floridaf · It has been really stormy in the South this week. It has warmed back up around here, so the chance of rain is really not too surprising. I'm hoping for a fast track, too, though. · 812 days ago ·

Looks like Mucho Macho Man has filled out his big frame iand is quite the Man (Sunshine Millions Classic). I'm so glad Awesome Feather(filly and mare race) is healthy and running. Little Mike (turf) and Apriority (sprint) are the other favorites. And Musical Romance (filly and mare sprint) is another favorite. Gulfstream is the place this winter with so many returning champions training and running and some wonderful derby prospects training there. · 817 days ago ·
