Creative Cause is a good looking horse. He'd get even more attention if he were running out east. derbydeals.com
Here is my triple box, Tiz Point, Bodmeister and Empire Way........

  • icyhotboo · LIAISON- This horse became rank running in 2nd because he was boxed in and the pace was to slow for his speed. That won't be the case as MG can place him in a stalking position inside or out and go for the lead possibly just before the turn but if the speed holds up he should have no problem here. At a mile and a sixteenth the nSan Felipe will be a battle of pedigree. At great odds due to a "wardrobe malfunction" in his last race out, Liason, with his super come-from-behind-to-nip-at-wire pedigree from grandpa VictoryGallop, looks to be the best value and an obvious play! Go Liason! Round 'em up and leave them wonderin'!
Empire Maker should stalk this hot pace an split the rail late to zip home in hand , nice play today
Looking forward to seeing Empire Way and Take Charge Indy take a step forward this weekend.
What a great race this one will be....seems like a year for a horse like Giacomo!

errr i hate when a field like this comes because its wide open and someone we all like is going to run bad
Bodemeister will win in my opiniion.
According to Steve Anderson of DRF.com - Santa Anita: Fed Biz out, Bodemeister in for San Felipe
Creative Cause taking the same route as Silver Charm. I bet Bodemeister at 38-1 on Saturday night but he closed at 28 or 29-1.
I hope Baffert doesn't have these 3 in this race, because i love all of them.

  • Cardly Knot · Bodemeister was to be headed for the Sunland Park Derby, which would be a good move. Harrington should send Empire Way there, too. If you're lucky enough to have even 2 TC contenders, why run them against each other. Baffert and Pletcher of course are in another Tax bracket. · 1635 days ago

waiting on fly lexus fly needs a first or second in SAderby hopes for the DERBY love pedigree
  • ruhlmann · I hope I'm wrong but he probably won't make the SA Derby or KY Derby, he's got no works posted & the SA Derby is a month from now. A little bird told me perhaps the Belmont Stakes. · 1635 days ago
Has Bejarano picked his mount yet? I hope he stays on Fed Biz

  • ghelguera · Baffert will only start two horses in the San Felipe, Liason and Fed Biz are the likely runners. IMO I think Gomez will pick up the mount on Midnight Transfer or Empire Way that's if Creative Cause runs. Should be a great race and an all race in the pick 4 sequence. · 1636 days ago
  • ruhlmann · I heard Espinoza will ride Midnight Transfer for Carla Gaines. · 1636 days ago
Pretty nice field shaping up for the San Felipe...8 of these probables have finished on the board, including 4 first-place winners this season so far. I think all eyes will be on Bodemeister to see if he can follow up his impressive maiden win with another star performance.
Out of bounds is what I think
I think out of bounds is a awsome horse
