What the Nation is saying about the 2012 Robert B. Lewis Stakes (G2)...

One thing that is for sure, is that if I’ll Have Another does not get the respect he deserves going into the 2012 Belmont, should he win, taking the Triple Crown, he should go down as one of the most respected Triple Crown winners in the history of the series.Read More

  • lynn.nely · I have respect for all the horses in the world. Think they are the greatest animal on this earth. I respect I'll Have Another although my pick was Bode. I do hope that we have a triple crown winner and expect that we will. He has the speed and the stimula to do it. This has been in the making for a very long time and I am looking so forwarded in seeing history being made again. Good Luch I'll Have Another in you races and becoming the new Triple Crown Winner. · 697 days ago ·

  • champion2011 · According to Jeremy Plonk on drf.com: GROOVIN SOLO (Myung Kwon Cho) finished third, but had his number taken down for the incident with LIAISON, which placed him last. Regardless of the placing, this was a decent effort as he exited a mile maiden win with a much more stern test. Moving in the right direction, he’s a horse who would not be a surprise to see peaking around the Santa Anita Derby. · 797 days ago ·

  • travel_vic · I recall watching in awe when Gary Stevens came over from Idaho and was leading rider for several seasons at old Longacres. One knew he was destined for better. I saw his first hundred grander at then Exhibition Park, on a Washington shipper named Prairie Breaker in the B.C. Derby 1983 edition. He came back to ride the final race when LGA closed down too. CLASS ACT. Leading rider for several seasons at Hastings, from Mexico, Mario Gutierrez, did what he does well: stole a race on the front end yesterday in a stakes at Anita. This fellow has started to have people notice him in the big leagues.....Success like that may not bring him back to Hastings, where he hooks up with leading trainer Troy Taylor and owner Glen Todd. Watch out for him, especially on the front end. · 802 days ago ·

  • Winplacsho · Didn't think Battle Hardened would get bet down to 9/2 from 12/1 morning line, but he ran his eye balls out from a extreme outside post in his previous race at GP. The way he rated Saturday was very encouraging since he didn't pass a horse in the stretch of his first 2 route races. · 801 days ago ·
