  • Mike in SB · Did you see the interview with Andy Beyers in the Paulick Report? Because of the low Beyers speed figures for the prep races this year, he said this crop could be even worst than last year which he said was the weakest crop of 3 year olds in his lifetime. · 719 days ago ·

  • icyhotboo · If the odds pemit I'm going to throw in a 3/6/8 tri box. UR just needs a prep and EP needs 1st or 2nd, #3 has a lot of upside 2nd off layoff and EP being the fastest horse with about the same LP. Michael Matz may just be there for a tune up for KD even though the purse is big. On a personal note sadly I didn't win the lottery, I didn't even want 1st second for a million - taxes would've been just fine. I think I need another job due to the fact every doctor I go to has at least 3 friends who want to shake my hand for a couple hundred. · 753 days ago ·

The Florida Derby may have had a couple of uncharacteristically dull years, but in 2012 it looks to get back up on its feet, delivering one of, if not the best Kentucky Derby Preps this season. Read More

  • DeadHeat · Capper the only problem I have with his race is that it was run in the slop. He did run a winning race, but with his record over a dry track, I can't help but be skeptical. If that race had been over a dry track he would be right there with Reveron for me. · 754 days ago ·

Watching yesterday’s Fountain of Youth Stakes was a pure joy. Union Rags looked every bit the way an early Kentucky Derby is supposed to look.
