What does it say about the ability that Snow Fairy still maintains to have shipped to France and beaten the likes of Izzi Top, Galikova, Giofra, Timepiece, and Siyoumi in a G1 race coming off of a 280 day lay-off. Snow Fairy is still amazing!!

Snow Fairy crossed the wire in 1st place and was the recognized winner of the race until 11-29-2012 when she was disqualified and stripped of her win for testing positive for a banned substance in a post-race drug screen. Trainer Ed Dunlop stated it was for anti-inflammatory medication Snow Fairy had been taking to help with the severe tendon injury she suffered in late 2011. Dunlop said "the withdrawal period was longer than we were advised."
