  • annmatt · Thank you, thank you, thank you for the update on Maclean's Music! Loved the pix of Racel and Taco. Now, can you find out what the status of Fly Lexis Fly is? Last I heard he was in training with Neil Drysdale in California. It had been reported he was being trained for the Belmont, but there was never a mention about him during the TC run. · 357 days ago ·

  • BrianZipse · Glad you enjoyed, annmatt! Fly Lexis Fly had very minor setbacks that forced Drysdale to slow down with him, but the good news is he has been working out regularly now for the past month, including a six furlong work on Thursday. · 357 days ago ·

  • kay.robinett · Why was the distance of this race - only 9 furlongs to begin with!!!! - cut??? And why was it allowed to keep its graded status after being cut? · 359 days ago ·

  • AndyScoggin · kay, cutting distances is the way things are in racing now. I am not a big fan of the cuts. Since 2003 the CCA Oaks was been reduced from 12 furlongs to 10F and is now 9F. Graded status rests more on the level of competition in a race than a change in distance. · 358 days ago ·
