  • SandySwenson · Good race. However, his stablemate, Believe You Can, a 3-yr-old filly who won the Silver Bullet Day Stakes earlier in the day, ran faster for the identical distance and won by 2 lengths. She also lead all the way, running the first quarter in 23 and change. · 125 days ago ·

I would like to see most of these horse back for the next leg of the series,so that for us the bettors or handicappers the comparisons become more logical and it will be more of a series. The Risen Star is next isnt it.Everyone thinks racing needs stars I cant argue with that but as bettors WE NEED MORE SERIES with full fields in each leg,the triple crown is not enough
  • icyhotboo · It's not just horse racing, there is more demand for the gambling dollar, casinos, lotteries, and it takes no effort at all to press a button on a slot or pick a lottery number. Things aren't going to get better in racing especially now that the US attorney general has opend the way for regulated state internet poker with millions in prize money. Roll with the punches, times change. · 129 days ago ·

Hey everyone just a fact to ponder Ist 2nd and third place finishers this year 2012 trainers Jones,Assmussen, and Amoss have all previously won the race twice, now Jones takes the lead with 3 after Mr.Bowling grinded out the win.
As one of the finest trainers going, Larry Jones knows good horseflesh when he sees it, so when he says he’s very happy with a young horse this time of year, it makes sense to listen. Clearly Havre de Grace, likely to be rewarded with the Horse of the Year in a matter of days, is the stable star, bu...Read More

Has the race gone off yet? Who won?
I think Exfactor will win this one.
Ten years ago, trainer Wilson Brown brought Darwin Olson’s appropriately named It’sallinthechase to the Lecomte to finish third beaten less than a length for the win, and then brought that horse back to finish third in that year’s Grade II Louisiana Derby before disap...Read More

I have no plans for him right now, but the San Vicente is an option.” · 131 days ago ·

  • 12thCrown · I think FG spacing the race as is hurts their chances for top contenders. Very few will wheel back for another race like Nehro did last year. But it's shocking they don't draw better candidates with the $1 million purse! I love visiting that track... can't believe Asmussen is heading west this winter. · 152 days ago ·
