What the Nation is saying about the 2012 Jerome Handicap (G2)...

I must admit that I have had a great deal of fun in the Road to the Roses Fantasy league this year. With only 10 days to go until the Derby I am sitting in second place in my league a mere 4 points behind the leader.Read More

  • tracksidejive · Predicting Ed's power horses will be IHA, Bode, & Union. So definitely gonna have to roll the dice somewhere. Be careful of stables not far behind you! :) Good luck Matt! · 394 days ago ·

  • AmbitiousD · Look at it from this perspective. Its the last chance to get points, and if you pick the same horses as everyone else, you wont gain any ground. Might as well try to shoot the moon and pick some longshots for your power horses. It sure makes it hard to cheer against your real favorites though... · 393 days ago ·

The Lumber Guy improved his record to 3-for-4 with a front-running victory in the 142nd edition of the Grade 2, $200,000 Jerome on Saturday at Aqueduct Racetrack. Read More
He absolutely blew the doors off that field. Great ride by Luzzi giving him a perfect ride. Would love to see him run in the Red Legends at Charles Town in June for the 400K purse. Hushion had great success in that race last year with JP's Gusto.
I like The Lumber Guy in here. Hushion wheeling back on short rest s very aggressive from him, not to mention the 1 turn and cutback in distance should really fit The Lumber Guy better. Inside post draw is a disadvantage but I believe he's good enough to overcome that.

Am I the only one who likes Term Loan here? I think the pace will work well for him, and if Stirred Up can't get through, there are not other closers that I really see getting it done
I'll go with Stirred up with some money on Adirondack King they are the best in this field.
