What the Nation is saying about the 2012 Hollywood Starlet (G1)...

Faced with the uncomfortable possibility of seeing his star filly shut out of the Kentucky Oaks, it looks like trainer Kenny McPeek will opt to forge his own trail to the first Friday in May. Normally the last stop on the Kentucky Derby trail for colts with hopes of late qualification for the Run fo...Read More

  • annmatt · Some additional points about Pure Fun: Including her debut, Pure Fun has started eight times, taking 4 tries to graduate. Since her first start on 6/24, she has run with the following days between races: 19, 29, 35, 26, 9, 35, 14! She has run without Lasix, and not having to worry about 30 days recovery time between races likely made it possible to concentrate on the best races for her continuing education. She now has won on 3 surfaces! She has run at 6 different tracks, with 5 in her home state, and one cross country! She is definitlely a filly to watch for 2013. · 159 days ago ·

  • rafirox · My favorite filly is My Happy Face. My Happy Face is inexperianced and still learning. She never falls in duels. If you watch her face Dreaming of Julia, she NEVER folded. Yes, she lost, but, she LOST the lead, REGAINED it, and lost it back, to a ultra talented filly in DOJ. Beholder is not a great horse, sorry. SPEED BIAS. And yet, EP almost caught her. · 172 days ago ·
