  • AndyScoggin · It was quite a meeting at Gulfstream. Seven likely Derby starters ran well at Gulfstream: Hansen, Union Rags, Dullahan, Gemologist, Take Charge Indy, Trinniberg, and Went the Day Well. · 389 days ago ·

  • Floridaf · Horse of the Meet is now officially included! Matt, it was a great meet, and I was fortunate enough to see both the Swale and the Gulfstream Park Handicap. Later this week I will likely have a piece up on the Derby chances of the seven colts you named. · 389 days ago ·

  • icyhotboo · If the odds pemit I'm going to throw in a 3/6/8 tri box. UR just needs a prep and EP needs 1st or 2nd, #3 has a lot of upside 2nd off layoff and EP being the fastest horse with about the same LP. Michael Matz may just be there for a tune up for KD even though the purse is big. On a personal note sadly I didn't win the lottery, I didn't even want 1st second for a million - taxes would've been just fine. I think I need another job due to the fact every doctor I go to has at least 3 friends who want to shake my hand for a couple hundred. · 420 days ago ·

  • Floridaf · You made very good points about Yara and Zo Impressive in regards to some of their previous races. Personally, I think Disposablepleasure is much better than her 4th place Davona Dale finish would suggest; just look back to her gritty win in the Demoiselle. I believe the match-up between Eden's Moon and Reneesgotzip will be the best of the weekend in the 3-yo filly division. Maybe we can get another BL/HDG rivalry going. Great analysis, Brian! · 421 days ago ·

  • BrianAppleton · Thanks Ashley! I agree with regard to Disposablepleasure. The Davona Dale was her first race of the year and I think she will benefit off that effort, but I don't think she'll get to the top two. All of these fillies are coming into the races looking really good. · 420 days ago ·
