Gutsy call by Frankie Dettori choosing to ride Colour Vision over Opinion Poll, who's proven himself to be one of the elite stayers in racing, in the Ascot Gold Cup today. Dettori at his best in the ride, too. Ballsy the way he got Colour Vision to pull out that extra late surge when Miickael Barzelona briefly headed him on Opinion Poll in the final half-furlong. It's no secret that Dettori's job as Godolphin's #1 jockey has been under siege of late from young Barzelona. So congrats to Colour Vision, and well done indeed to Frankie Dettori!!
