  • jbayness · Fayette is a good spot for him. Been in training for the past two months. multiple 6f works on a dead CD track and a bullet sub 1 min 5f work last time out. I would say he is fit and ready to go. Why keep him on the bench if he has shown he is ready to return? Going to have to run against the olders at some point - why not now? Disappointing he is giving weight to all but Newsdad, but luck of the draw being the only G1 winner in the field. Shorter distance off the bench would have been nice - but go find one of those at this point of the year. Clark Handicap is the ultimate goal anyway,so this will be a good test for him. · 537 days ago ·
