Shackleford Bourbon Courage Take Charge Indy

  • Dressage3295 · Since Pool Play was scratched, my top three are Cease, Stealcase, and Mission Impazible, unless Shack is pumped then I replace MI with him · 1470 days ago
  • cocoa2 · Not sure why everyone bet against him. He wasn't very pumped either. He just made the break and it worked out. · 1470 days ago
Down to: Bourbon Courage, Fast Falcon, Lunar Victory, and Take Charge Indy

  • edgaropena · I also like fast falcon. Like his pace style coming down CD's long stretch, lowest weight of the field, and Zito is a sneaky trainer that the betting public often overlook. $5WPS · 1470 days ago
  • edgaropena · Only issue I am concerned is facing older horses...if Fast Falcon can overcome then he has a legitimate shot. · 1470 days ago
GO BOURBON COURAGE!!!!
Alright after research and conversation. I would put Take Charge Indy as my pick to win and Bourbon Courage to place. Toss up to show.

  • icyhotboo · Actually 6 of the 10 can win but even that figure is dubious due to the fact that form can't be determined as to get even a glimpse of how the race should run. · 1471 days ago
  • icyhotboo · Unless I find some I haven't yet seen this is a pass for wagering purposes. · 1471 days ago
I just took a look at the odds....... 15-1 on Bourbon Courage? I am sorry, earlier I said I will bet him 20 dollars place. Now, I bet him 10 dollars Win Show.
1st- Fast Falcon, 2nd- Take Charge Indy, 3rd- Lunar Victory, 4th- Cease
  • rafirox · After handicapping this race, I have found several reasons to bet Take Charge Indy and Bourbon Courage. Bourbon Courage has a devastating kick, and is good at the 1 1/8th distance. He is in form, and tested before. As for TCI. BESIDES THE DERBY, look at Borel when he is on board. He WILL send him with Shackleford. He is proven at 9 furlongs, and best of all: This is his second race off of a layoff, his first race off it was fantastic, I expect him to improve. My bets are: Exacta Box TCI, and Bourbon Courage. 20 dollars to place, on both Bourbon Courage and Take Charge Indy. And, lastly, even though I don't see him winning at all, I have Shack 2 dollars to win, for a souvenior if he wins. Overall 44 dollars bet, good luck! · 1473 days ago
If Shackleford goes to the Clark, my money goes to a closer. Shackleford and TCI out on front banging with each other. Neck 'N Neck comes late i would guess. Cigar Mile would be a much better fit for him IMO.

  • travel_vic · Depends on how Churchill is playing as their crew can change the surface at will and often do. · 1483 days ago
I'm really hoping he goes to the Cigar Mile over the Clark...IMO he's not going to be able to get nine furlongs. Especially with Indy. The Clark is the wrong race. He has much more of a shot in the Cigar and I want for him to go out on a good note more than anything,

This race will definately cure the post breeders/triple crown is a year away blues. Good to See Take Charge Indy back, along with Bourbon Courage. Can't Wait.
