  • forego139 · Stay Thirsty was surely missed in the BC at Santa Anita, he sure was one intresting runner who at times looked like a world beater its too bad he has a Jerky owner, as for Shackelford he sure was a great Warrior on the track and will be missed and look forward to the offspring of these two good runners. · 502 days ago ·

  • Dressage3295 · Since Pool Play was scratched, my top three are Cease, Stealcase, and Mission Impazible, unless Shack is pumped then I replace MI with him · 510 days ago ·

Down to: Bourbon Courage, Fast Falcon, Lunar Victory, and Take Charge Indy

  • edgaropena · I also like fast falcon. Like his pace style coming down CD's long stretch, lowest weight of the field, and Zito is a sneaky trainer that the betting public often overlook. $5WPS · 510 days ago ·

  • edgaropena · Only issue I am concerned is facing older horses...if Fast Falcon can overcome then he has a legitimate shot. · 510 days ago ·

GO BOURBON COURAGE!!!!
Alright after research and conversation. I would put Take Charge Indy as my pick to win and Bourbon Courage to place. Toss up to show.

I just took a look at the odds....... 15-1 on Bourbon Courage? I am sorry, earlier I said I will bet him 20 dollars place. Now, I bet him 10 dollars Win Show.
1st- Fast Falcon, 2nd- Take Charge Indy, 3rd- Lunar Victory, 4th- Cease
  • rafirox · After handicapping this race, I have found several reasons to bet Take Charge Indy and Bourbon Courage. Bourbon Courage has a devastating kick, and is good at the 1 1/8th distance. He is in form, and tested before. As for TCI. BESIDES THE DERBY, look at Borel when he is on board. He WILL send him with Shackleford. He is proven at 9 furlongs, and best of all: This is his second race off of a layoff, his first race off it was fantastic, I expect him to improve. My bets are: Exacta Box TCI, and Bourbon Courage. 20 dollars to place, on both Bourbon Courage and Take Charge Indy. And, lastly, even though I don't see him winning at all, I have Shack 2 dollars to win, for a souvenior if he wins. Overall 44 dollars bet, good luck! · 513 days ago ·

  • travel_vic · It would be ashamed to push when there is no shove left. Just like old football players and boxers, one hates to see them hang too long. I know it was the right thing to do when Shug discovered that his great filly Storm Flag Flying, all of a sudden just lost interest. He did the right thing and took her home rather than embarass her further. Hey D. Wayne, see how a class act does it??? · 514 days ago ·

  • mkstorm · Shack seems to run well at Churchill, but he has won only one race beyond a mile. He'll probably face stiffer competition in the Cigar Mile, but he's never ducked competition before. So I think he should try the Cigar Mile. He'd love to see him win his last race. · 516 days ago ·
