Worst stretch call ever. Would've been better just to let it play out and name the win, place and show after.

  • cocoa2 · TV, Durkin right now if my favorite racecaller. Denman knows what to say and is #2, then Vic from Hollywood and lastly Larry Colmus. How the #4 is called the #1 races beats me. I know Durkin medically can't call big races, but what is wrong with SA and BHP's announcers? · 683 days ago
  • Floridaf · Gulfstream is being renovated with the ultimate goal of luring the Breeders' Cup back to Florida. Right now, the grandstand could not accommodate all the fans/owners/press, etc. that would show up for such a huge event. · 683 days ago
I hope the distraction of the Breeders' Cup brought some needed joy and smiles to all those suffering on the East Coast.
  • doc.jenna · it did brian! that is until he's had enough and shanghai bobby were battling it out and then the generator went out right before the finish line...i've never cursed so badly in my life haha · 719 days ago
  • cocoa2 · No doubt it did! We got power back Wednesday after worrying about watching the BC from Sunday on · 719 days ago

I was lucky enough to attend the Breeders Cup this weekend. It was easily the most enjoyable, low key, non-stressful- major sporting event I have ever attended. I have been fortunate enough to attend NASCAR events, Super Bowl, baseball play offs, and numerous others, the people here have all been exseptionally nice. I cant wait to come back next year!

  • travel_vic · When Ramon is running I will bet him · 722 days ago
  • icyhotboo · I have a friend who is a former trainer and he clued me in as to how well Rosario got along with the horse even before his first ride so I bet him nicely his last run. As to the shipping he doesn't feel it will have any effect on this horse as his problem before was injuries and Rosie who I really like just wasn't strong enough to handle him. Rosario on the other hand has the legendary strength of Laffit Pincay who had a physique like the hulk.I forgot to ask you if you use air resistance ratios in your handicapping? I realize the pro's and con's but feel the good out weight the bad. · 722 days ago
BC time once again. I think Mucho Macho Man will win the classic. Ill go with a 4-5-11 exacta and tri box as well.
Just 6 more days until day 1 of the Breeder's Cup. Who are your favorites? Who will you be picking? I am going for MMM in the Classic, Power Broker in the juvy, Dreaming Of Julia in the filly juvy, Animal Kingdom in the Mile, MMA in the Distaff, and Musical Romance in the F&M Sprint.

  • UnionRagsRules · Thanks for that, Mary. I don't always pay enough attention to the juvy sprinters when I should, lol. It's a bad habit of mine because all I can think about is the big one in May. · 727 days ago
  • MarcelloMarocco · Watch out for Sweet Shirley mae...she was a hard closing 2nd her last out... · 723 days ago

NOVEMBER 3RD THE BREEDRES CUP CLASSIC 2012 THE BEST HORSES RUNNING IN SANTA ANITA PARK ARCADIA CALIFORNIA
  • cocoa2 · November 2nd will have by far a better time. The distaff has always been more exciting to me. · 724 days ago
  • MarcelloMarocco · I agree with Cocoa...The Distaff is light years ahead in talent this year. · 724 days ago
Ok, so my play for the Race: Game On Dude, Mucho Macho Man, Nonios EXACTA BOX. And Mucho Macho Man 10 across.
The three horses I like so far are Game On Dude, Ron The Greek, Mucho Macho Man. And I know that it sounds strange, but I actually kind of like Handsome Mike. Mario always seems to ride well for Reddam and O' Neill.
  • Horsefan90 · I also like Nonios. He has good form in southern California, I would just worry about the surface. · 725 days ago
My favs as of now are : Classic - MMM, Mile- Excelebration(even on short rest/travel), BC Turf- Shareta, BC dirt Mile- Shack, BC Juvenile- Dynamic Sky, BC Juvenile Fillies- Spring in the Air, Juvenile Sprint-Sweet Shirley Mae, Juvenile Turf - Imboundtoscore/George Vancouver, Juvenile Fillies Turf- Spring venture, Filly&Mare Turf- Marketing Mix, Marathon- Atigun/Fame&Glory, Turf Sprint- Next question, Filly&Mare Sprint- Dust And Diamonds.
What ais the correct order for the late pick four on Breeders Cup staturday? Is the sprint included now or is it the Juvenile?
I have always liked Brilliant Speed, and To Honor And Serve, but I think GOD or MMM will get this one. Maybe Dullahan or Alpha but I doubt it.
Help needed for a Brit, what are Game On Dude's Beyers strictly at 10f please, Thanks in advance
