  • KyOaksRunner · It's going to be a fantastic race, and what a great field entered in a race that honors one of the greatest 3-year-old fillies of all time. I think Kathmanblu is the class of the field though Inglorious is pretty intriguing. · 826 days ago ·

  • KyOaksRunner · Dacinginherdreams had her run completely negated by being so close up. She just barely managed to get up for second but I think she would have been a whole lot closer if she had closed from far back. Lets hope she stretches out next time. If nothing else she sure got a lot of conditioning out of the Davona Dale. R Heat Lightning ran huge! · 814 days ago ·

The field of seven includes stakes winners Gran Lioness, Bouquet Booth and Inglorious. But all eyes will be fixed on Kathm...Read More

  • KyOaksRunner · I think Bouquet Booth is a good filly but definitely outclassed by the likes of Kathmanblu and perhaps Inglorious and Gran Lioness. She didn't beat much of note in the Silverbulletday Stakes and had to work pretty hard to to it. · 823 days ago ·

After romping to an open-length victory on dirt at Churchill Downs in her previous start, heavy favorite Kathmanblu cemented her credentials as a leading candidate for the $1-million Kentucky Oaks (G1) this spring with an easy victory on turf on Saturday in the $100,000 Sweetest Chant Stakes at Gulf...Read More

The May 6 Kentucky Oaks (G1) remains a target for the Kenny McPeek-trained filly KATHMANBLU (Bluegrass Cat), who demonstrated a clear fondness for the Churchill Downs strip last time when romping home an 8 1/2-length winner of the Golden Rod S.
