  • Woodbine · I don't think there are a lot of questions with who will or won't handle turf. Most have been on and have handled it well in maiden or allowance wins. Obviously Pender Harbour has not. He's Kris s line on top and Northern Dancer on bottom. Even if he takes to turf, the distance or the regression may get better of him. Seawatch also a turf enigma. Woodman could go either way, no? · 297 days ago ·

While the Prince of Wales lost all its importance when the Queen’s Plate winning filly didn’t show her snout, one good thing did come out of the result. Pender Harbour’s victory allowed the chance to salute one of thoroughbred racing’s legends, almost 100 years later.Read More

  • Woodbinemile · Couldn't have agreed more. This is a BIG slap to all of us Canadian Horse racing fans. As well as the American, and Euro fans who watched the Queen's Plate, and take an interest in our TC. A track such as The Fort REALLY needed this boost, but unfortunately the connections thought otherwise. To bad, because the POW was a HELL of a race this past weekend, and surely she would have beaten Pender Harbour, and Bowman's Causeway. · 316 days ago ·

Let the Queen's Plate crew of Hippolytus, Check Your Soul, Pender Harbour, and Bowman's Causeway take all the bettor's money. I will be more than happy to take the horse who has a good race both over dirt, and the track, at odds of around 20-1.Read More
