  • KyOaksRunner · I think Joyful Victory should be able to handle the Mother Goose with ease, if she doesn't than she's not as good as I think she is. I'm also really looking forward to seeing Daisy Devine, though on TV and not in person, she's a wonderful filly. I picking Zazu to win the Hollywood Oaks over Plum Pretty for a couple of reasons. I actually think she'll like the smaller field and will be sitting closer to the "pack" than usual which won't leave her as much to do in the stretch, and also she 's very familiar with Hollywood Park. I don't think the Kentucky Oaks showcased her best. · 1033 days ago ·

  • ghelguera · Who is Plum Pretty ducking? She is facing a better field in the Hollywood Oaks than Joyful Victory in the Mother Goose. The Goose Field is a field of 7 and the Oaks a field of 5, WoW! Doesn't make any difference. Zazu beat Joyful Victory in the Ken. Oaks. · 1033 days ago ·

  • KyOaksRunner · I don't think she's really ducking, I just had to take advantage of that title. :) I think both Tapit fillies (Zazu and Joyful Victory) could give her a run for her money right now, and especially with the smaller fields. · 1033 days ago ·

  • Woodbine · It's too bad she doesn't like Poly because she could have made it interesting on Oaks day. In the Mother Goose, she has to be given another chance. She's far too talented a filly to dismiss. · 1033 days ago ·

Apparently Plum Pretty is out.... spiked a fever.
Trainer Kiaran McLaughlin, who got a "double wow" on Belmont Stakes day when It's Tricky upset Turbulent Descent in the Grade 1 TVG Acorn and Trappe Shot took the Grade 2 True North presented by Emirates Airline, is hoping Alseera will make it a triple in next Saturday's Grade 1 Mother Goose at Belm...Read More
I had a plan this past week when I was preparing to take off for my trip to Ireland. I had my laptop, flashdrive and saved files all relative to the Black-Eyed Susan Stakes (gr.2) set to go. My hotel in Dublin had free high speed WiFi and I was eager to continue my coverage of the race and contender...Read More

  • BigAConfidential · Welcome back, Brian! I must hear about your trip to the Emerald Isle at some point. You and I have both liked Royal Delta for some time. She got a dream setup Friday, yes. But she still capitalized very nicely. Interested to watch the rest of her campaign play out. · 1062 days ago ·
