  • DeadHeat · Trick, MMM, and these two all look like they are ready to have a great 2012. My personal favorite is Tapizar, and I hope he can keep up the kind of form he just displayed. · 492 days ago ·

Picking ZATT's Star of the Week 52 times a year can be a mixed bag. Sometimes it is easy, with one horse dominating in such a way that I do not give the decision a second thought. In some weeks, it comes down to a pair of performances in which I need to make a difficult decision that is likely to be...Read More

To Honor and Serve put on a quite the display, November 26, 2011, when he rolled clear of the classy Calibrachoa. The son of Bernardini has been a puzzling this season, to say the least. After his two year old season, he had built up such a reputation that he was made the favorite of the Fountain of...Read More

Haynesfield, Hymn Book, and THAS our my picks, THAS 1st, also look for Calibrachoa.
  • Mary Z. · I have Haynesfield, Sangaree, Calibrachoa, but wishing Calibrachoa can stretch out--he was my original Fall Highweight pick. He loves Aqueduct--at 6f. anyway. · 545 days ago ·

Since it’s Turkey Day and football shares the day with busted bellies let’s talk a little football. There’s an old adage – play to your strength and you’ll hear it used most often by coaches or analyst during football games. And while it’s fairly straightforward four words, some miss the simplicity ...Read More

Race is turning out to be figured as an exciting race! THAS is my obvious choice, but for second, stuck between Jersey Town and Haynesfield. THAS did not run well in the Classic, but he only had a couple of preps. The winners in that race had plenty. He ran well I think, and he might not be fit for the distance in the classic. Real excited for this race. I don't think it could shake up a eclipse award, but I will be sure to look for the winner next year. GO THAS!

When Sangaree competes in next Saturday's Cigar Mile Handicap, he'll have a tough family legacy to follow. The 6-year-old is a half-brother to Congaree, who at Aqueduct posted dominant victories in the 2002 and 2003 editions of the Cigar Mile and also captured the Wood Memorial and Carter Handicap. ...Read More
After her neck winning thriller over Theyskens’ Theory in Saturday’s Garden City Stakes (Gr. I), I began to ponder about all of the grey and roan thoroughbreds out there today.
