Older Comments about the 2011 Breeders Cup Mile (G1)...

The person that nailed this pick 6 probably doesn't have to show up at work on Monday and can take a nice long vacation with the payout they'll get...
Goldikova finished third. Sad. Court Vision won by half-a nose, Turallure Second, Goldikova had to kind of squeeze out and just didn't quite have it.
I'm rooting very much for Goldikova and her 4th straight victory. My fingers are going to be crossed all day on Saturday for Goldikova and Havre de Grace! Oh, and Creative Cause!
Interesting to note that on Bodog futures it has Gio Ponti at 9-1, not sure what it means but its tremendous value if you like Gio
I think there are a number of runners in this race who could win it. I had to scale it down to five, and here they are: Turallure, Byword, Courageous Cat, Mr. Commons, Goldikova. My top selection will be Turallure in this race. Mr.Commons has nice long-shot appeal and will definitely be involved in some saver tags.
Mile Trifecta: 4 Mr. Commons, 1 Goldikova, 13 Turallure
Looking for a fourth BC Mile in a row, Goldikova draws the #1 and is 7-5.
excelebration is out not probable
Byword is coming with Prince contigent and running in mile please add...
So Frankel is out! This takes some pressure off Goldikova, but she probably would have won anyways.

  • Mary Z. · I think Goldikova's reign over the BC Mile would have ended, but I can wait until next year to see Frankel. Here's wishing him continued health and success in 2012 and beyond, and see you at Santa Anita, gorgeous champion Frankel. · 1714 days ago
If Frankel ends up coming which is very unlikely, I'll be rooting for Goldikova. Always been my davorite turf female and always will.
GOLDIKOVA WILL WIN THIS RACE AGAIN
