Lucky Chappy is on the move … again. A quick peek at the stickers on his suitcase already reveal stays in Ireland, Italy, France, Maryland, Kentucky, and Florida, but it looks like the fun has only just begun for the globetrotting son of High Chaparral. If all goes as planned, you can add the mileag...Read More
  • medlocke · Terrific ride by Ryan Moore to win this race on Wrote. He had finished 3rd behind stablemate Daddy Long Legs in the G2 Royal Lodge Stakes coming into in this race. But really showed he's capable of winning at this level in the Juvenile Turf. I think it's fair to say with Misty For Me having run such a game effort in the F&M Turf on Friday. Then Wrote winning the Juvenile Turf and St. Nicholas Abbey winning the BC Turf on Saturday that Ballydoyle looked by far the best European stable represented at the Breeders Cup this year. • winwinwin · That Owner/ Trainer combo of O'brien and Magnier /Tabor+ Smith is very very tough . What race fans fail to realize is these European horses like Wrote run every week . Wrote ran Aug 15th, Aug 22nd, Aug 29th, . That owner trainer combo also won with St Nicholas Abbey a few races later . In fact St Nick beat Sarafina where it mattered in the 5 Million dollar Arc de Triomphe last month · 894 days ago ·

Trainer Doodnauth Shivmangal, a native of Guyana, has a unique metaphor for the Breeders’ Cup.   “In cricket terminology, this is the World Cup,” said Shivmangal.   It’s a fitting comparison, as Shivmangal trained thoroughbreds and formed the Guyana Cricket Association in his country of or...Read More
