  • medlocke · To start with, Switch is not just an ordinary filly that Zenyatta so often gets accused of racing. I think most people consider Blind Luck one of, it not the best 3yr.old filly in America. She'll likely be favorite for the Breeders Cup Ladies Classic. This is the same Switch that beat Blind Luck in the G2 Hollywood Oaks back in June. I'm just curious if anyone besides myself noticed what happened to Zenyatta when she cornered the final turn in the Lady's Secret yesterday? She crossed over to her left lead to go around the turn just fine. But when she straightened out, she got completely off of her correct lead. She went about 3 strides with both front legs out in front of her at the same time. If you'll watch the replay, Mike Smith immediately corrects this by slapping Zenyatta at the top of her right leg, getting her back in stride on the correct lead. She then ran down Switch with just under a furlong left. Incredible. There's not a horse racing anywhere in the world that Zenyatta can't reach down and grab a gear for to run down. IMO. · 960 days ago ·

  • mdracing69 · I have always liked Switch. I played her in the Kentucky Oaks Future Wager and am glad to see her performing well in the Graded ranks. As for Blind Luck, note that she was nominated to the Lady's Secret but did not want anything to do with Zenyatta so she skipped town and ran 2nd in Saturday's G2 Cotillion in PA. · 959 days ago ·
