  • LAZMANNICK · A filly that was just beginning to run at the longer distances where she thrived. In races from 8.5F and longer she won 5 of 6 including her last four. In 21 other races all at shorter distances she won only 7 of 21. What could have been? They finally get her figured out and then tragedy. RIP girl. · 288 days ago ·

Tuscan Evening ran another terrific race today in the Modesty Stakes at Arlington Park. It's certainly not like beating Hot Cha Cha and Rainbow View is like beating allowance level fillies and mares. That's for sure. Rainbow View was a Grade or Group 1 winner as a 2yr.old.
Tuscan Evening figured to get loose on the lead in the Modesty Cap, and she did, setting an exceedingly slow pace.
