What the Nation is saying about the 2010 Madison (G1)...

Not that she ran a bad race by any means, but I really felt that Informed Decision really showed a little "layoff rust" today in the Vinery Madison Stakes at Keenland. She was just really kind of slow to get going early in the race, which never let her get into a position to threaten. She certainly didn't look anything like the mare that jumped out of the starting gate, sat right off of Free Flying Soul, and then blew right on by her and never looked back from the 300 yard marker of the 09 B.C. F&M Sprint. But she still ran a respectable 3rd. Dr. Zic really ran a very impressive race, as did Dubai Majesty to get up for 2nd.
