  • medlocke · This year's JCGC is a very important test for Blame. There's no doubt that Blame has the talent to win the JCGC. But the question still remains about whether or not Blame can get 10 furlongs? I believe he can, with change to spare. But he's yet to go beyond 9 furlongs in his career. It's sort of a "Quality Road like" situation. Except we've seen Quality Road already try 10 furlongs twice in his career. And both times he failed to win over the distance. But certainly wasn't disgraced either. I don't think Summer Bird was more talented than Quality Road. I just think Summer Bird was stronger over the 1-1/4 distance than Quality Road. If Blame win's the JCGC? And looks convincing in doing so. I believe he'll go off as co-favorite with Zenyatta for the Breeders Cup Classic. JMO. · 976 days ago ·
