A great run by Calming Influence to win the 2010 Godolphin Mile. A Dubai veteran of the past two or three carnivals. Calming Influence was the only colt in 2009 that ran any kind of meaningful race against the dominant show that Gladiatorus put on in Dubai. Calming Influence ran a very respectable 2nd to Gladiatorus in the 09' Jaguar XF Trophy. Desert Party was the heavy favorite to win the Godolphin Mile. But just didn't fire. But Godolphin's other two runners in the race, both Calming Influence and Skysurfers took the #1 and #3 position in the race.
