A brilliant performance by the 3yr.old filly, Music Show, in today's Falmouth Stakes at Newmarket. Spacious and Strawberrydaiquiri went off at a brisk, early pace. With Special Duty and Lillie Langtry doing their best to track the leaders. Both faded under the fast pace. Music Show had been ridden in rear pack, off the pace. When she opened up on the field, Spacious just didn't have enough left to hold her off. Music Show had ran well in both the English and Irish 1000 Guineas this year. But had come up short in both races. She had won the Nell Gwyn Stakes at Newmarket in April. But today's win finally gives Music Show a well deserved Group 1 victory.
