Happy Breeders' Cup draw day! Before the draw, everyone is waiting to figure out how things will work out -- who's going to be where, how the races are going to shape up in terms of which horses will have to send and which horses will get to rate. With the Kentucky Derby about six months away, it’s natural for trainers of promising 2-year-olds to be projecting how their youngsters might develop.Which 2-year-olds might turn into classic 3-year-olds? Which ones don’t have what it takes? Only time will tell. Trainer Todd Pletcher, who’ll be runn...Read More
Trainer Al Stall Jr. and owner Andrea Pollack agreed that J. B.’s Thunder’s road would have to be perfectly clear if they were to move forward to the Grey Goose Breeders’ Cup Juvenile (G1) rather than the Delta Downs Jackpot Stakes (G3) on November 20. The Thunder Gulch colt lit up a green light on ...Read More
Uncle Mo should win this race. He's a very nice colt! I've looked at past BC Juvy races and most of the time a horse who's hot coming into the BC runs very well. And those who have doubts about him in this race and his running-style, War Pass who's similar to UM won this one by going wire-to-wire. So I'm not worried about him and the distance. I like him for the win! And 3 others that I like in this one are Biondetti, Jaycito and Rogue Romance. All of whom have dirt pedigrees and have impressed in their last.
Todd Pletcher’s Grey Goose Breeders’ Cup Juvenile (G1) pre-entrants finished their four-furlong workout in company on even terms on Sunday at Churchill Downs but that  is not necessarily indicative of where the two-year-olds are in their development.Undefeated Grade 1 winner Uncle Mo and Three ...Read More
  • medlocke · Uncle Mo's Saratoga maiden has been as impressive of a 2yr.old debut as I've seen by any American 2yr.old in 2010, bar none. It's a rare thing when you see a 2yr.old that's able to step up from an impressive maiden win in their first start. Straight to G1 company, and win a that G1 event, as Uncle Mo did winning the G1 Champagne Stakes at Belmont in only his second career start. 2yr.old's that can do that are special. I think it's gonna take a huge effort from another 2yr.old in the Breeders Cup Juvenile to come anywhere remotely close to beating Uncle Mo. TJMO. · 1269 days ago ·
