What the Nation is saying about the 2009 Swaps (G2)...

Misremembered turned the tables on Grazen in the Grade 2 Swaps. The latter wired the Affirmed (G3), and the former made all of the running on July 18th. Still think Grazen is the better horse, and he probably would have won on Sunday with aggressive handling. Cool that Bob Baffert won the Swaps with...Read More
Misremembered stole the race and turned the tables on Grazen. The latter was expected to set the pace, but Espinoza outmaneuvered Bejarano in this spot. Grazen probably would have won if you reverse posts and/or trips.
I guess Bob Baffert didn't need PON after all to pick up this stakes money. Misremembered looked pretty tough going basically wire to wire.
Swaps Stakes winner Misremembered has won 3 of 5 starts and was helped greatly when jockey Victor Espinoza guided him to an early lead.Read More
Just when lucrative opportunities for 3-year-olds on the main track are drawing to a close in Southern California, Misremembered seems to have figured out racing. • arazi · I'm interested to see what Massone can do in the Swaps. He ran a very good third in the Blue Grass, but I haven't heard what he's been up to since. Conservative could also be tough. · 419 days ago
Anxious to see how PON comes back after disappointing run in Preakness.
Not what you'd say a big PON fan but he seems to like the synthetic at Santa Anita so I don't know why the synthetic at Hollywood would be any different for him. I don't know who else is slated for this race, but PON will probably be hard to beat.
