This is a race that I'm really looking forward to. Many think Gio Ponti is the best turf horse in America right now, and he has looked very impressive of late. But I thoroughly expect Einstein to give him all he wants and then some. I've always felt that Einstein is a better horse on turf than he is on dirt, and he's pretty good on both. It would be hard to bet against Gio Ponti in this race but it won't surprise me if Einstein beats him.
No question, one of the best match ups of the year. It will be interesting to see how the pace scenario shapes for this one
