Mike in SB · Totally agree, I was lucky enough to see him run twice, in the Pimlico Special and Breeders Cup. He was a great horse and as you said he would often go off in the big races at pretty good odds. He will be in the Hall of Fame. I am looking forward to the article on Chris Antley and personally I think Alex Solis deserves to be in the Hall of Fame as well. · 80 days ago ·

goblin · I agree that Invasor deserves to be a first-ballot Hall of Fame horse! He was a unique presence in the U.S., generating excitement and inspiring confidence as he provided win after win regardless of the circumstances of the race. His Breeders' Cup Classic is my favorite. · 80 days ago ·

mshutty · Little known fact that Invasor is my all-time favorite thoroughbred. There was never a Breeder's Cup Classic contender in which I had so much confidence. Just as the sun broke through after a grey BC day, Invasor comes bounding around that final turn and if you were sitting in the stands at the top of the stretch as I was, there was no doubt who was going to win the Classic.
