One of the greatest fields in Breeders Cup history!
  • LAZMANNICK · JMO because I know that everyone has their own particular favorites, but I always thought that the 98 race won by Awesome Again was as deep a field as ran in any BC Classic and compared favorably with 87 when Ferdinand nosed out Alysheba in a loaded field. Just in behind them I would rate the 2004 Classic when Ghostzapper defeated two Dubai World Cup winners, a previous HOY, a future BCC winner and ran the fastest Classic ever. The 85 field when Proud Truth defeated Gate Dancer and Turkoman with Chief’s Crown and Vandlandingham also in the field was a strong one……in the past 10 years I rate Ghostzapper’s 2004 the strongest field with Curlin’s 2007 field second and Zenyatta”s 2009 field third. · 1129 days ago
  • tmallios1 · In my opinion,2 fields stand out. The field in which Awesome Again ran in and the field that A.P. Indy defeated. · 1129 days ago
