Weakest Derby field I have looked at. Most were sprinters and G2 or G3 winners. Sham also smashed his face in the gate and lost a bunch of teeth.

  • buckpasser · It seems many times when when there is a horse that towers over his or her competition, people always say it was weak field. Secretariats competition was not weak with Forego, Riva Ridge (Marlboro Cup) Sham etc. he just overwhelmed everyone. · 1281 days ago
