1957 Kentucky Derby (G1)
Anybody that mistakes the 1/16 pole for the finish line in the Kentucky Derby, threw the race. By the way, can you think of a better threesome than Bold Ruler, Gallant Man, and Round Table for adversaries?

How can Willie Shoemaker be considered a Hall-Of-Famer, when he threw a race? Something like the 1919 Black Sox scandal.

There was no penalty. It was accepted as human error. But, when it comes to Willie Shoemaker, I believe he knew where the finish line was. He was aboard Gallant Man, who would go on to set the Belmont record, that held for 16 years, until Secretariat shattered his mark, and due to his miscalculation, Iron Liege got up at the wire. Due to the fact that Shoemaker had participated in many Ky Derbies, I feel that he KNEW where the finish line was. Things were a lot simpler back then.

Let's see. In my short time of knowing you, you have used the words, idiot; rookie; can't read a program; simple, etc.. I'd hate to be around you at the track, when you lose a race, and you start yelling these tirades that you write down in these blogs, all because they didn't run accordingly to your mapped out "breakdown of the race", oh, Anointed One.

CauseForConcern, the first time you addressed you told be "don't break your arm patting yourself on the back" thats friendly? As far as being a know it I'm not I've lost horses on the money at the track and except for the times one of my horses had to be put down a great time. btw, which one of you two smart guys picked up 390k on a 10k bet this past week.

CauseForConcern, if you don't like name calling then it is timsmith/timgsmith10 you want to watch out for, especially at the track. He basically said when a horse losses him money he go around saying "suck it." I wonder if HRN has over 50 tickets left for the BC races because people are wondering if the name calling etc that goes on on this site is going to be at the track also.

If all of you are guys, do not ever complain about a female at that time again. Read your own silly comments.

Who doesnt swear at their horses when they lose a race? Thats what its all about loving them when you win and cursing them when you lose! (all in good fun of course) . Mary Mary you are a good trash talker too ..just a little more subtle lol

I hope you don't have to resort to cursing too often after races, Tim. That would mean you pick too many losers. Most of the ladies at Saratoga and some of the men will be too happy to curse on July 30th. and August 13. You read about the beefcake jockey calendar signing, didn't you? Too bad Ms. Sutherland isn't considered beefcake. Dream on. Consider this equal time for the Playboy and other comments. :)

You should put a saddle on, then use your famous line, you know the one you said about a certain mare. ____-it. See if she goes for that. Good luck. You'd have to be rich, I bet.

BlackHorse-Tim/Tim10/Timsmith/CauseForConcern/ are all the same person. mrsmaryzinke is part oftheir game, don't let them get to you they do this on other sites also. Insult and then back each other up but it's ony two people not five.Just thought you'd like to know. Look at their post histories and when they joined. CauseForConcern answers question I ask directly of the one called Tim10
