|ILuvTurfRacing The 2012 Breeders Cup Juvenile Fillies Turf winner starts off the 2013 season with a bang, winning the G1 Poule d'Essai des Pouliches(French 1000 Guin... moreas) in her seasonal debut at Longchamp!!

|ILuvTurfRacing Congrats St Nic!! You didn't get that 2nd BC Turf, but you did avenge that narrow loss to Cirrus Des Aigles in the Sheema Classic last year. I thought... moreit looked apparent from fairly early on in the race that St Nicholas Abbey was going to win the Sheema. He looked so relaxed and confident from the moment he stepped out of the starting gate. He cruised along through the race looking as if he were confident he could run right by Gentildonna at his own leisure, and that's pretty much what he did. The G1 Racing Post Trophy, G1 Coronation Cup X2, G1 Breeders Cup Turf, and now the G1 Sheema Classic. Not a bad resume to go to the stud barn with once his racing days are over.
|ILuvTurfRacing This story just hit the front page of the Racing Post web-site: Last year's Dubai World Cup winner, Monterosso, has been scratched on the morning of t... moree race. He was said to be lame in his left foreleg this morning, so Godolphin erred on the side of caution and withdrew him. The story can found on the front page of RacingPost.com right now.
|ILuvTurfRacing This comes from AtTheRaces.com: Hopes continue to rise that Snow Fairy could make her reappearance in June in the G1 Prince of Wales's Stakes at Royal... moreAscot. Her season was cut short for a second time due to a tendon injury after winning the G1 Irish Champion Stakes last September, causing her to miss the Arc & Breeders Cup. Snow Fairy's owner, Cristina Patino, confirmed the 6yo mare will stay in training for the 2013 season. Trainer Ed Dunlop said "she did her first piece of fast work on Friday and if she's ready we'd really love to take her to Ascot." This mare is as game as they come and when she's on top of her game can beat the best of them, male or female. I sure hope she makes it to the Prince of Wales's Stakes next month!!
|Armada Super, super impressive in the Dubai Duty Free! That was awesome.
|AmbitiousD Recovering from a rear leg injury earlier than expected, Ambitious Dragon is entered in the G1 Queen's Silver Jubilee Cup on Sunday. A step back in di... moretance to 7 furlongs, has him set to face his main rival, Glorious Days, in their 5th matchup of the season and HK sprinting champion Lucky Nine. Should be a great race.
|likin sparks Hey great race! and very good to see Frankie win this one since the tragedy with Rewilding
|BrianZipse Congratulations to the 2012 Caulfield Cup winner, Dunaden!
|Northport No longer undefeated, finished 4th in the Fred Darling on Saturday
|MarcelloMarocco VERY suprised to still see Sea Moon in the top 15....While Dawn Approach is many spots behind him.
|raifirox dose nto deserve to be on the undefeated list!
|On The Gallop's Poor horse hasn't run a lick in GR1 company since he was brought back to racing. Let the poor boy retire and be a horse.
|ILuvTurfRacing It looks probable that Camelot will make his 2013 seasonal debut in the G3 Mooresbridge Stakes at 10f at the Curragh in Ireland on Monday, May 6th. My... moreguess is Aidan O'Brien wants to get a run into Camelot to go forward to the G1 Tattersalls Gold Cup at the end of May, and then if all goes well from there I'm guessing the G1 Prince of Wales's Stakes during the royal meeting at Ascot in mid-June would be next.
|Armada Upset about the trip this girl got. I was so confident in her ability to win today. If only she had somewhere to run.
|smarty1968 Now has a record from 10 starts at 8-1-1
|On The Gallop's What an SOLID performance from Toronado at Newmarket. He ran a Sea the Stars time over the Rowley Mile and did it all in hand while widening at will. ... moreToronado vs Dawn Approach in the Qipco 2000 Guineas is gonna be one of heck of a race.

|Peppermint Paddy I'm not getting why OD has recieved so much trashtalk online. I went through a bunch of his races posted on youtube, and people just slag him as bein... more overrated. His comparison to Black Cavier being able to run sub 55, battling hoof problems. Has he been officially retired? Listed active on HRN, and no comments or post on him in almost a year.

|edgaropena Expecting a great run today. Witness the power of Euro Turf with O'Brien/Spencer and Champion Sire Galileo.

|BrianZipse A few hours out from the Irish 2000 Guineas. Without Camelot, it looks wide open. Parish Hall is scratched. Trumpet Major will be my pick.

|yukichan Completely overshadowed by Black Caviar, lets not forget that my most favorite Kiwi is racing towards history tonight as he reaches for the 3rd jewel ... moren the 3 yr old AUS Triple Crown. This son of High Chaparral, "Chappy" as he is known has already won the Randwick Guineas and Rosehill Guineas and needs the Derby. A win tonight in the Australian Derby would thrust him into an elite group of Triple Crown winners. Octagonal (1996) is the only winner of all three races since the Derby was shifted to autumn in 1979. Go Chappy!!

|SomaliLemonade Is Ortensia retired or active? And who will cover her? Answer me please.
|yukichan An interesting observation. This past week, Japan has seen three talented graded stakes winners injured (2 with bowed tendons). All three are slated t... more return to racing after their 9 -12 month recovery period. WV is one with a bowed tendon. Like Excelebration is to Frankel, WV is to Orfevre. Wishing him a complete recovery and I look forward to his return to racing. *Thanks to Kate Hunter for timely information via her Keiblog FB site.

|ILuvTurfRacing Red Cadeaux spent all of 2009 & 2010, and part of 2011 racing only in handicaps in Great Britain. He truly is a success story in how well he handled t... moree step up from a handicap to patent stakes level, and not just in Europe, but on the world stage. In 2011 he finished 2nd in the Melbourne Cup & 3rd in the Hong Kong Vase. In 2012 he won the Yorkshire Cup, Hong Kong Vase, and was 2nd in the Coronation Cup, and so far in 2013 he ran a monster race to finish 2nd behind Animal Kingdom in the Dubai World Cup and another fantastic race in Japan to finish 3rd in the Tenno Sho(Spring). It's hard not to admire a horse like Red Cadeaux.
|paul.nathan.946 The great one Likely to make her return in late may.
|yukichan This classy AUS mare has been retired after a serious sesamoid injury that put her out of Melbourne Cup contention on the eve of the race. “She has r... moreced in top company right through her career, won a Caulfield Cup and nearly $3 million prizemoney so she has certainly earned her retirement.’’ says trainer Leon MacDonald.

|VikiSchweinsteiger Good Luck, Verse, in Queen Elizabeth II Stakes! I believe in you , my lovely girl ♥
|ILuvTurfRacing How about that, sports fans!! Memphis Tennessee wins his 2012 seasonal debut in the G3 Ormonde Stakes at Chester, and buries Brown Panther by some 15 ... moreengths in the race in the process!! The same Brown Panther that won the King George V Stakes at Ascot in a romp, and was 2nd in both the G3 Geoffrey Freer Stakes at Newbury and the G1 English St. Leger at Doncaster. Normally, a colt that finished 2nd in the G2 Derrinstown Stud Derby Trial, 4th in the G1 Epsom Derby, and 3rd in the G1 Irish Derby the way Memphis Tennessee did in 2011 would make him the top 3yr.old colt in just about any barn. But his solid efforts in those 3 races got overshadowed by Treasure Beach winning the G3 Chester Vase, G1 Irish Derby, G1 Secretariat Stakes, and G1 Epsom Derby 2nd. Good to see Memphis Tennessee finally get a solid group stakes win on his merit his way. Meaning that he wasn't having to run in a style to help set the Ormonde Stakes up for other stablemates like he was forced to do in both the Epsom and Irish Derbies last season. Really like this horse, a lot!!

|mkstorm Can anyone beat Gold Ship in the Tenno Sho? Would love to see this colt try the Melbourne Cup. I think the Aussies would be screwed if it showed up ... moreor that race.
