Race #8 from Turf Paradise (post time 5:44 eastern) is a $35,000 stakes race at 1 1/16 mi on the dirt. My pick is #10- Az Ridge(9/2). This 3 yo  is a very versatile gelding that can handle all types of surfaces and is overdue for the top spot. He has been drawing a lot of outside posts which is the only thing I don't like about him in this race. That being said I will stick with him to pull of a mild upset in here. He needs to get a decent break and get some  good early position in here.

My play: #10 Az Ridge - $40.00 win/ place for $80.00 total bet

Perfect ride. Bridges hustled him out and laid 2nd off the pacesetter and made a big move on the backside to take the lead . He was pressured in deep stretch with a late run by the #11 but kept him at bay . Nice win for this youngster. He was 4-1 when I bet him but was hammered late at the windows to 2nd choice at 9/5. Paid $5.60 to win and $4.00 for the place (Collected $192.00) bet $80.00 for a $112.00 profit.
