The KY Derby winner ain't coming out of that Risen Star bunch.

Why has Winx never shipped for the Breeders' Cup? I don't know if I've missed something or if I'm simply an amateur, but the Breeders' Cup races are some of the most prestigious in the horse racing industry, so I don't understand why the number one turf horse in the world has never participated in any of the runnings? Not looking for an argument, I'm simply curious. I've seen some people comment that Australian turf is a bit different from American turf, but is that the sole reason why she hasn't participated?
Catch a Glimpse worked 5f, February 25th, in 1:02.00 (b) finishing 8/22.
Favorable Outcome worked 4f, February 25th, in 49.55 (b) finishing 44/76.
Wake Forest worked 4f, February 25th, in 49.70 (b) finishing 7/26.
Miss Temple City worked 4f, February 25th, 47.00 (b) finishing 1/26.
What a monster of a horse. If he hadn't had shin problems as a two year old, Baffert would have had two triple crown winners in a row in my opinion.
Irish War Cry's work today was sensational, rated nicely in 13.40, 37.60, drew off by 3 in 101.80, and out huge 113.40, 127.80. Looked very professional with tons of energy left.
International Star took a very scenic route down the stretch, thought he was still going to get there.
When does Arrogate's owners have to declare that they will be in (or not be in) the DWC? What is the deadline?
Half brother to the late Cloud Man debuts Thursday at Santa Anita.
WOW THAT WORK WAS AWESOME. Just what we all wanted to see with him rating beautifully
if Smith had to choose between American Anthem and Mastery, which way does he go?
Trainer Todd Pletcher announces that Battalion Runner will skip the Fountain of Youth and will point straight to the Florida Derby.

She is being bet off the board already in the Oaks only futures pool. This is a big value scenario to go against her if there is a horse you like. She's already less than even money, which is hilarious 2 months out. This is what happened to Songbird last year, and I went with Cathryn Sophia, and played her back in exacta 2nd as a hedge.
great race against gormley in second start, watch out!
One more Derby prep for One Liner. Pletcher said races like Fla. Derby , Wood or Blue Grass likely next and final prep for One Liner .
  • Moki · Has Fletcher been handed the favorite for the KD a few times? I like One liner as top five but the trainer jinx won't end here. If I had three wishes for the triple crown Unique Bella would be one of them. · 2 hours ago
I got no more adjectives to describe Winx. She very well may be the best ever.
