Wednesday's 10th race (5:05pm ET) from Tampa Bay Downs is an $8,000 claiming affair for 4-year-olds and up which have never won two races. They will be traveling a mile and forty yards on the main track.
#7 Chai Wallah (6-1) chased above par fractions from post 11 in an even 4th place effort at 6f here Feb. 7. Profitable speed rider Santiago hops aboard and he might get brave if able to shake loose early. Not sure he wants to go this far but I'll take my chances with the early runner.
#6 The One Thing (5-2) exits an even 4th in a local extended sprint vs. this kind. He carved out slow splits and finished 3rd in a route here Dec 22 and probably stalks the pace today.
#2 Starship Romeo (9-2) comes in from the Gulf and new trainer Passero shows a profit with the blinkers off move. He has tactical speed and is back around two turns.
