Gun Runner becomes the prohibitive East Coast favorite with Hoppertunity opting for Dubai. Gun Runner will likely run in the Oaklawn Handicap and the Stephen Foster before the Whitney and possibly the Woodward. I see little chance he enters the Santa Anita Handicap. He will stay on the East Coast. Hopp's first race back is the Stephen Foster at the earliest and more likely the Whitney if Baffert is to salvage any of his East Coast plan for him.
I could be incorrect but I don't think Shaman Ghost is nominated to the DWC.
Where do I apply to get paid to correct alternate facts, in the same manner that the paid beastly agitators, hopefully, for them, get paid. nobodies would scroll down days ago to correct that Frankel comment(bodily function that became typed words). Pay me. Gracias.
Unleash the beast!
Looked Amazing. He's definitely on my Kentucky Derby short list. Curious to see what people feel are his weaknesses? So far he's beat what looks like decent class. I like his running style, What are his weaknesses?

  • bronzeprincess33 · Like any of the other horses, he'll need the trip and a bit of luck to win on the First Saturday in May. He also didn't compete in the Breeders' Cup, so he may not be able to handle the large and boisterous crowd that will be on hand for the Derby. · 7 days ago
  • WickedOne via Disqus · Only weakness i could see is the traffic in the Derby and him going wide when he starts his run. That's just the thing with closers. i am anticipating him to come at Mastery and Irish War Cry right at the end of the 2nd turn. :) · 1 hour ago
Baffert has Mastery ready to roll it seems like after today's work. 6f in 1:12. I am expecting nothing less then a win in the San Felipe.

Sticking with Guest Suite in the Risen Star with Untrapped 2nd.
Uncontested will skip the Rebel and target the Arkansas Derby according to his connections.
Does this old boy look familiar?... https://www.thoroughbredracing.com/media/filer_public_thumbnails/filer_public/75/40/7540dc71-3d47-4099-a191-0eacfa01d3be/fastmarket1pm.jpg__760x480_q85_crop_subsampling-2_upscale.jpg He should!...He's Big Red's 31 year old son who retired with 144 starts and is still thriving in his retirement at Bright Futures Farm!! https://www.thoroughbredracing.com/articles/children-secretariat-son-who-raced-144-times-and-still-thriving-31/
Prize Exhibit worked 5f, February 22nd, in 1:02.40 (h) finishing 43/52.
Elate worked 3f, February 22nd, in 36.60 (b) finishing 1/4.
This crop is so good, that I truly believe that their will not be a Triple Crown winner this year. The field is too good. Atleast at this point in the season.
In a crop of a few promising 3 year olds, It's gonna be fun to watch these prep races.
This is a little older, February 10th, but I thought it was a cute picture of Chrome with little visitors: https://www.facebook.com/taylormadeadvantage/photos/a.600042903364834.1073741830.105549292814200/1257715364264248/?type=3&theater
This mare has so many incredible attributes, but none, IMO, more amazing then her versatility. She goes out and cleans house race in and race out no matter what distance she's facing her competition at. This current 14 race win streak has seen Winx post wins at 6-1/2f, 7f, 7-1/2f, a mile, 10f, & 11f. To be able to win in the fashion that she does over that many varying distances is absolutely incredible!
  • ruffianlover · She really is incredible. There have been so many nice females in recent years, it's amazing · 9 days ago
  • sczen50 · You bet it is! Sounds like Kelso used to. · 4 hours ago
Winx has been posted at 1/10 for the Chipping Norton on Saturday. Looking forward to watching her extend her streak.
  • sczen50 · I heard it's for Thurs/Fri right after Midnight Eastern Time. Going for 15th! Hartnell is 2nd choice..again at 10-1 !! · 4 hours ago
Well, with Midnight Storm likely for the Big Cap, I see the potential US entries being: Arrogate Candy Boy Hoppertunity Keen Ice Neolithic Shaman Ghost - has Stronach ever entered a horse in the DWC? I did not think Touch Gold made it, but maybe I am wrong. And Awardee, Hokko Tarumae, Mubtaahij and Special Fighter. Let's hope Arrogate stays healthy.
Trainer David Hofmans has announced that Melatonin, the winner of two Grade 1 races in 2016 who was fifth in the Breeders’ Cup Classic in November, has been taken out of training because of a foot issue. Hofmans said Melatonin is scheduled to leave his stable for a four-month break at a local farm. “We’ll be ready for the fall,” Hofmans said. “It’s been one little problem after another.”

  • Pebbles via Disqus · Sad that means the Gold Cup at the earliest? · 4 hours ago
Classic Empire isn't running in this spot. Why is he listed here?
I am going to be one of the few on here who hopes they do not ship him to Dubai. I want to see him go to the Big Cap and win. He is much improved and is ready for a big 2017

  • Ferrisjso26 · Shipping a horse to DWC is almost never the right move for them unless they're coming off a layoff. Horses don't tend to do well after going overseas to the DWC. With the Pegasus, the risk and inconveince of the DWC is no longer necessary. · 1 day ago
  • Pebbles via Disqus · No way he runs in the Big Cap. Asmussen will likely target the Oaklawn Handicap and the Stephen Foster. The Big Cap likely is a walkover for Midnight Storm unless Melatonin can make it. · 4 hours ago
