Saturday's 9th race (5:14PM ET) from Saratoga is the Grade 1 Forego for 3-year-olds and up traveling seven furlongs on the main track.

#8 Warrior's Reward (6-1) was taken out of his late running game when he went after Quality Road in the G1 Met Mile last time so you can forgive that better than appears effort. He reunites with winning pilot Leparox and he has struck three times at seven panels including a nice tally in the G1 Carter. He figures to revert to patient tactics at playable odds today.

#1 Vineyard Haven (2-1) looked great in James Marvin return at this distance in the slop. The multiple Grade 1 winner should make his presence felt throughout.

#1a Girolamo (2-1) runs well fresh and has captured both of his local starts at seven panels. He owns fine tactical speed and adds strength to the favored entry.

#2 Bribon (4-1) utilized the sweeping turns at Belmont in a six furlong Graded win June 5 but he ran out of ground behind a sharp speedster (Majesticperfection) at that same distance here last time. Today's added furlong helps and he should save all of the ground before launching his rally under Gomez.

The Plays: $16 to win #8, $8 Exacta Box 1-8 ($16), $4 Exacta Box 2-8 ($8) - analysis by Jarrod Horak

Vineyard makes the pace and they all try to catch that one with the 4 9 or 2 Bribon
