Sunday's 9th race (5:30PM ET) from Saratoga is the G1 Vanderbilt for 3-year-olds and up traveling six furlongs on the main track.
#5 Majesticperfection (3-1) has rattled off four straight and his recent Pace/Final Time Ratings make him a major prominent throughout threat in this spot.
#4 Big Drama (3-1) is 4-for-4 at six furlongs and he easily captured both Calder starts this year. I love his early-pressing versatility and winning spirit.
#1 Gayego (4-1) needed his seven panel show finish in a Graded synthetic affair at Hollywood last time. He won an Optional Claiming sprint here last summer under today's pilot Alan Garcia.
#6 Bribon (5-2) rallied nicely to win the G2 True North at Belmont last time, but those take back and rally wide tactics might not work as well at the Spa.
#2 Mambo Meister (12-1) handles turf/dirt and routes/sprints but does not have the natural speed to keep up with this group.
