Sunday's 4th race (2:39PM ET) from Saratoga is the G2 Woodford Reserve Lake Placid Stakes for 3-year-old fillies traveling nine furlongs on the inner turf.
#6 It's Tea Time (10-1) almost beat Evening Jewel in the G1 Ashland in just her 3rd career start and she was only 7-1 in failed Kentucky Oaks run. She unleashed a strong finishing kick to win a local Allowance turf route Aug 1 and appears poised to pick up her first Graded win.
#5 No Explaining (7-2) rallied through traffic to finish a solid 3rd behind her promising stablemate Perfect Shirl in the G2 Lakes George here July 28. She won at this distance in her previous outing and sports a Woodbine bullet for this.
#3 Check The Label (7-5) has won three straight Graded turf Stakes but this is an everly matched group per the numbers and the Graham Motion contender will not offer much value.
#1 Hatheer (6-1) has not lived up to her strong turf route pedigree for McLaughlin. She exits a sharp turf sprint win at Belmont and might attempt a wire job from the rail.
#2 Triple Cream (5-1) has hit the board in last two turf Stakes tries and maybe the blinkers will help her focus.
#4 Exclusive Love (9-2) outran her odds from post 10 in the Lake George and projects a tactical trip under Briggy.
